| Water Project |
Even though we have not as yet taken the drilling rig to the Turkana territory as has been my vision for a long time, we are thrilled to announce that at last we were able to get one bore hole (test drilling) done. We got a lot of water! This water will be piped to four villages. Thank God for those of you who contributed. We will still need more funding as both for the purchase of encasements, pumps and pipes and also for the replacement of some few items that got stolen.
At present we are doing a second bore hole which will supply water to an orphanage near the town of Juja. The project is going rather slowly because we found a very hard rock. Pray that we will succeed in getting water in this place and that the Lord will touch more people to contribute funds for the encasement, the pumps, and the piping. Pictures
God bless you.

"Seasons of Refreshing Missions and Family Life Conference" -Reviews of 2008 & 2009 Conferences:
The 2008 Seasons of Refreshing Missions and Family Life Conference was one of my main highlights for the year. This was a very special time in the LORD's presence with Christian family. I can sum the conference in three words: Unity, Joy, and Intimacy.
There was special unity in the Spirit like I have not witnessed for a long time. It seemed like everyone who attended came with the sole purpose of worshipping the LORD (nothing more, nothing less). There was special joy during worship, testimony times, and in the sharing of the Word (God, The Holy Spirit, was truly in our midst). There was also an intimacy of fellowship among those who attended. This was not a time of "show-off" but a time when we could be together as family to learn from each other and to encourage one another in our Christian walk. I am really looking forward for this year's conference. I pray and hope that all who attended last year, and those who missed, will be able to make this year. Dr. Patrick G. Kihiu (one of the Speakers during the conference).
Review of the Seasons of Refreshing Conference: Nov 26th - 29th 2009 (By Rev. Boniface Gitau, Collins Cheggeh, and Pastor Joseph Gitau Kamau).
God's Message was Clear (By Rev. Boniface Gitau):
What a glorious time we had at the 2009 Seasons of Refreshing Missions and Family Conference. The meetings were enriching, empowering and refreshing. The LORD’S presence was so real; every message delivered had a great impact. God’s message through His servants was very clear focusing on living a legacy; impacting our world and the next generation.
What was also very unique about the conference was the family atmosphere. Every age group had a great time of fellowship, getting to know each other and praying for one another. Our kids enjoyed themselves and wished the conference was longer.
I left the conference with a fire stirred up within me to preach the gospel like never before. I look forward to next year’s conference, be sure to be there.

Engaged in deep conversation (By Collins Cheggeh):
The second annual season of refreshing conference was a time of family. A time when we were able, as a small segment of the Kenyan community in America, to slow down and recoup, to engage in deep conversation with loved ones and make new and deeper connections with others we may not have known. The open moments of on the schedule, when one could connect on one-on-one with others was the most rewarding time.
There were powerful and anointed speakers from Dr. Patrick Kihiu to Rev. Boniface Gitau, we received up lifting messages. Messages ranging from “Being an Ambassador” to “Steps to Elevation in the Kingdom”. But the conference was not just useful in terms of receiving messages, it was also an opportunity for others to practice the gift placed in the them. Youngsters danced, young preachers preached and many others had doors opened to them that they may not have had, elsewhere.
This long weekend conference is as time to get refreshed, gather with family and friends old and new, worship and engage God, all in a community setting. Plan to be there next year. God bless. Collins Cheggeh
The Power of God was real (By Joseph Gitau Kamau):
I was really blessed to be a part of Seasons of Refreshing Missions and Family Life Conference at KY. The power of God was real in every service and the Holy Spirit moved mightily. Praise and Worship was heart touching leading us to the throne of Grace in the presence of the Lord. The food was very delicious and fellowship was great. I was encouraged by every Speaker.
Dr Kihiu with a powerful healing testimony ( Isaiah 38). “In the midst of God’s will there is peace”. Rev. Boniface Gitau shared on Isaiah 61: “There is anointing to share the Good news”,
Pastor Brad Catron on Exodus 18:13-20, “Who is being Pastor to the Pastors?” When you die what is left?- He challenged me to have a big picture of tomorrow as I press toward the mark of a higher calling. The Bishop's third son, Casper Njuguna Cheggeh also preached on "What is your worth?"
Bishop Armstrong Cheggeh shared with us from the book of Ephesians and challenged us not to yield to the spirit of the age (Ephesians 3:14-19). He opened the conference with a message which was also the theme of the confernce, "It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
I'm so glad I got to attend this year's conference and it is my hope and prayer that many will purpose to attend next time so that we may be blessed together, May God bless you. (Joseph Gitau Kamau).
Special, Informal, relaxed time (By Dr. Patrick G. Kihiu)
This year’s Seasons of Refreshing Conference was awesome! Bishop Armstrong Cheggeh opened by introducing the conference’s theme found in Luke 12:32, where Jesus Christ assuredly states, “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Like last year, this was a special, informal (relaxed), time where we all came together (as family) to celebrate God’s faithfulness and to pray for each other’s future. Everyone participated in sharing gifts, talents, and services in making the conference a huge success. The highlight for me was having one-on-one fellowship with my brothers and sisters. Another highlight was the anointed preaching, teaching, and testimonials. We missed and we prayed for all those who were unable to attend this year. I look forward to seeing everyone next year.
